Track tasks and request decisions

Save a campus task, record its outcome and send a purchase request to its designated reviewer.

Operations is available to authorized staff when selected for their church. Assignments do not grant access or send notifications. A saved approval records a decision; it does not purchase, pay or reimburse anyone.

  1. 1. Save a campus task

Sign in, choose your church and open Operations. Choose a specific campus in Campus view. An administrator selects Operations in Explore apps within your plan and provides the necessary campus access. In Tasks, select New task. Enter Task title, Task description and an optional Due date. Use Choose task assignee to select eligible staff or Leave unassigned, then select Create task. Open the saved task to check its details.

  2. 2. Record the task outcome

Use Edit task and Save task changes to update the details. When the work is done, select Complete task, enter Task outcome and select Confirm task change. Open the saved task again to confirm Completed and its retained history. If another editor changed the task, preserve any unsaved text before choosing Reload saved task, then review the current saved details before editing again.

  3. 3. Save a purchase request draft

In Requests, select New request draft. Choose Purchase request in Request type. Enter Request title, Request justification, Currency, Request amount and, if needed, Needed by. Use Choose request reviewer to select an eligible reviewer other than yourself. Select Review request draft, check the details and select Save request draft. Reopen the draft to confirm the amount, currency and reviewer; use Edit request draft for changes before submission.

  4. 4. Submit and record the review decision

As requester, select Submit request, then Review request change and Confirm request change. Submission freezes the details and amount for that review. The designated eligible reviewer opens the submitted request in their own account. To approve, they select Approve request, enter Request decision note, then select Review request change and Confirm request change. Both requester and reviewer can reopen the saved request to check the approval, submission revision and history within their current access.

  5. 5. Review history and download the register

Open a saved record to review Operations history. To download a working register, choose Tasks or Requests, the campus and Task or request status. Select Download CSV batch, then Download next CSV batch until complete, including any empty batch. The export starts from the beginning of that scope, independently of the displayed list page. Notes, justification and history are excluded. Account IDs identify staff accounts, not People records. Request amounts use minor currency units; needed-by and budget-period dates are separate.

Check the saved outcome and share downloads only with authorized staff. If a record becomes unavailable, ask your administrator to check current Operations and campus access.
